"I got plane coats and i had to send back because they didn't put my logo flag and embroidery stuff on any of them. . Im still waiting for my actual coats and their mistake might mean I won't have my coats for our opening night. . . . ."

"I am a female merchant marine chef/cook. Because of my body type, I cannot wear female coats. These jackets are very cooling with mesh back and underarms. They are standard jackets with opposing front flaps for switching during your shift and the collars are chef collars so it doesn’t look like a men’s coat. I find it lightweight and breathable and very comfortable. So much so that this type chef coat is all I wear now. I only wish they had more variety of colors to choose from. Anything but white!"
"I have been waiting for my order for a month, I call and founf out that thos item cannot be shipped to New York or California during to a chemical in the fabric. There is no notice on thier site and the company did not even contact me to let me know. This is bad customer service."

"So no reviews prior to my purchase, I have some Red Kap shop shirts that I used in a previous business and thought I would give these a try. I wear an XL in my shop shirts and was told that I should order the same size. These are a bit smaller, in my opinion, than other chef coats, but the fitting through the shoulders and sleeves make the XL work for me. 6'0 230# with a 46"(ish) chest. No restrictions in movement and the breathability is no joke in that these are not weighty or clingy. The stitching is not cheap, the buttons look to be sewn on well, and the oil block is good stuff if it is the same as my shop shirts. As I have only had these for two washings and one wearing, I cannot speak as to the durability, but I have been happy with other Red Kap items and expect to have no issues."
