"I am a Raymond Forklift technician. I work in the power solutions department, which means my job is to fix forklift batteries and battery chargers. I needed pants with a high polyester percentage to resist the sulfuric acid. These pants fit a little snugh in the waste so I would recommend buying 1 size larger than what you actually are, but they are comfortable and I enjoy them. Not exactly sure why the right side rear pocket has 2 pockets but that's whatever. As for longevity, not sure yet, only had them a month so far. Really like these pants so far."

How would the pants hold up against thorns and barbed wire?: Hi Sam - these pants are more for lightweight comfort and flexibility in warmer environments. They are durable for everyday work, but they are not designed for heavy brush, thorns, or barbed wire, where a heavier-duty fabric may offer better protection.
Is the leg opening big enough for pull on boots?: It would depend on the size of the boots and the size of pants purchased. As a reference, the leg opening for a size 34 would be 17 around.
Do they fit like jeans or dress pants. I wear 36 w in jeans 38 w dress pants: These pants fit more like a work/dress pant than a jean. They have a smooth, lightweight fabric with a flat‑front design and a straight leg, so the overall look and feel is closer to a uniform or dress pant. Jeans are usually heavier and more structured, while these are lighter, more flexible, and designed for comfort and mobility.
Don’t iron - so do they look smooth?: Yes but please remove from the dryer promptly!

How bid is the leg opening? Will they fit over boots?: Hi John - It would depend on your size and how large your boots are, but the leg bottom ranges from 16 1/4in - 18 1/2in
Can you get safety strips on these pants?: That is not something we are able to do here
I wear a 32/30 what size should i get: you would get your normal size, though these pants aren't designed as baggy as some of our other styles so it also depends on how loose you prefer your pants.
