Red Kap Donates Aprons and Chef Coats for "Cooking the Wright Way"

Local Nashville Chef Sterling Wright, who was on Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey, held a 4 week-long culinary camp for children ages 8-18 in Nashville (graduation was at Amy Grant's ranch); and held a 1 week-long camp in Clarksville, which is where our Red Kap culinary product was provided.

This story was brought to our attention by Blanca Davila in Customer Support as her daughter, Bella, attended both of the camps. She worked with Ashley Bechtloff to process the apron and chef coat order quickly to arrive in time for the last class. This partnership exemplifies Red Kap's commitment to supporting the trades and the next generation of skilled trade workers.

The cooking camp was created by Sterling Wright and his longtime friend Brandon Williams. They designed the camp to provide children an outlet for anger, give them an opportunity to serve their families and communities and teach them to "cook with love". Each night the children's homework assignment was to go home and cook for their families.

Chef Sterling Wright tagged Red Kap on Instagram..."Brandon and myself would love to thank @redkap for their sponsorship on aprons and chef coats for cooking the Wright Way! Red Kap may you be proud of the work you do! The people you touched! And the difference you guys make!!!”
